What is Fudochi Shotokan Karate?
Fudochi Shotokan Karate has its roots in traditional shotokan karate. Karate is the Japanese term for 'Empty Hand' and is the practice of unarmed combat and self-defence. The term fudochi means immovable wisdom and is a principle of training that adds a mental discipline into the practice of martial arts. Karate is for everyone and through regular practice an individual will see improvements in fighting technique, physial conditioning and mental focus. Check out the youtube clip for examples of higher level fudochi training drills.
